Scrum Roles

We started our process by assigning all of the group members to the Scrum position. The product owner was helpful in facilitating conversation between the team and the client/stakeholder and the Scrum Master was resposible for taking overall leadership roles in terms of managing team processes. The development team took on the toles of creating the deliverables.

Below is the backlog of our required functionalities for our client.

Sprint Planning

For each of our sprints, we did spring planning where we established  what must be completed by our next sprint review using the prodcuts in our backlog. For our initial one, we created a DCD to provide a brief overview of how the app will be laid out.

Sprint Daily Planning

We used discord and iMessage as our main methods of communication. We made a channel on discord strictly for daily updates in order to keep all team members accountable and updates.

Sprint Review/Retrospective

During the first and final sprint, reviewed the app with our client to receive feedback on what could be improved and what else is needed. During our weekly group meetings, we discussed this feedback and used it to structure how our following sprint would go and allocate tasks to each group member. Updating our backlog as needed, we improved our progress on each requirment.
